What he actually said was, "I would like to know how people would be alerted to the fact that I made such a donation." Which I think is a fair question; they can't all want to be anonymous ;-) If we weren't tax exempt, then it might matter that we are solicting payments in exchange for goods or services. However, we aren't and we don't have fixed prices anyway. Technically, we should have put that IRS text in the solicitations and for that matter, any time we take money, regardless of what the money is for.
