I agree, let's give'em some rope here and see what they do with it. If they do nothing I think we can all agree to pick some cool donation plants to give out as prizes. Maybe even booby trap prizes for the losers like a bag of duck weed or better yet a bag of that darned cladophora species that I have yet to get rid of after 5 years of infestations ;-) The bottom line is noone wants to give SFBAAS anything because they do not deserve it yet we are in a catch 22. We can't let them fall to hard on their face lest we look bad. Our obligtaion is to the members so we have to have a back up plan in place. Rember all of us me included (heck me especially) had our doubts about the workshop thing and yet it turned out to be one of the highlights of the AGA2k3 convention. Let's let them figure it out but have a plan B just in case. Plan B, buy three tanks, use the hotel tables for stands, they will work trust me ;-), Lights, dunno, we could buy some on-line cheap and then auction them or see if we can get a doantion or just plain go without. Judges, Heck we have plenty of people, Karen, Cheryl, Erik, etc. Regards, Larry --- Karen Randall <krandall@rdrcpa.biz> wrote: > Then let's not even offer them the FAN plants.
