Apparently (according to my virtual mole) there was some kind of question about people joining SFBAAPS since May having to pay the AGA membership "tax" for convention reg, and Jim's response was since the convention didn't seem to be breaking even, we should consider changing that rule. Got me thinking that we should really have our walk-in rate worked out before the convention. I know I haven't put anything on the site about it, but that's because I didn't really know what it was. I was thinking we should have something that doesn't penalize anyone who signed up earlier, especially those who bought AGA memberships. But at the same time, I want it to pre-deflect the litany of complaints from locals who didn't know anything about joining AGA when they show up. I figure it would be a reasonable expectation that walk-ins pay a bit more than pre-reg, even if we didn't advertise it thus far. So what if we advertise "$69 Walk-in registration" but if they're a paid-up AGA member, discount it to $59? - Erik -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
