James Thiele nominated Albert Greenberg into the Florida Agriculture hall of fame, and as such gets two tickets to the induction reception and banquet Feb 13. I guess James is asking whether the Aquatic Gardeners Association wants to purchase tickets to the reception/banquet for $50. Karen got this e-mail too, and we talked briefly about it. Certainly I can mention this in the upcoming TAG. Unfortunately the cd contains a massive pdf file that is many pages by not very high res. There may be something I can do with it. Having no idea who the heck Albert Greenberg was, I don't know how to assign importance to this. I admit my ignorance. How about I e-mail Jim back and say that we can think of no better AGA representative than himself but that we will run an announcement in the next TAG asking anyone interested in going to contact him? Tee hee. First I've lost all my contacts because of Hurricane Wilma last year and a friend gave me this one. Also gave me for Karen Randall = editor@aquatic-gardeners.org <mailto:editor@aquatic-gardeners.org> and I have sent a note also . Here's what it is about . Albert Greenberg - the man who most of us old timers consider the Father of the Tropical Fish and Aquatic Plant Industries on Feb. 13,2007 is going to be inducted into the State of Florida - Department of Agriculture - Hall of Fame in Tampa, Florida . This is a first for them to select someone from aquaculture. The information I want to send is an email forward and a snail mail CD for TAG and maybe AGA would send a rep. or delegation ? Thanks - Jim Thiele PS --- if any of your group will send a phone number - I can explain better on that . jt _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
