Re: [AGA-sc] AGA 2007
They are using ticklers in their files from several years ago -- so every year
they send me another salses pitch. This isn't something new from them. The
original contact to me looked like a local interested in hosting and that's
probably how they got a bid doc although anyone could have given them the link
we have often published.
In anyevent, although they have repesatedly talked about a "bid" or a
"proposal" they have never sent anything more than the sales pitch such as you
see below.

I have no problem with folks and local clubs HELPING out, but from my
perspective, there's no way *I'll* be involved in another convention if
the AGA is not running it.
Same deal with the knoxville thing... curiousm why did we even send them
the bid guidelines? I thought we were pretty clear at this point -- no
local hosts from here on out.
