He offered to do this as well. He was pretty reliable in 2004. In fact, 
his records turned out better than mine!

Truthfully, I would rather steer Gomberg toward sales and away from 
registration. He can't be in two places at the same time, and I think it 
would be better to assign him a task and convince him that we NEED him 
and that we're DEPENDING on him rather than letting him decide how to 
"help." Since he's determined on principle not to pay for a 
registration, then this is the perfect job for him, especially if we let 
him sell his books.

I do the same thing with my dad when he comes to visit. I make sure I 
have a list of tasks for him to accomplish while he's here, otherwise I 
end up with the guts of my computer strewn all over the kitchen table, 
and a doorbell that sings Christmas carols. Yes, this actually happened. 
The computer thing happened to my sister and the doorbell thing happened 
to me. Best way to prevent that is to assign jobs.
