I never thought that it was a matter of whether we would be stuck with 
inventory. As a nonprofit, we should have some consideration for not competing 
with for-profits, especially if we were going to underprice. There is some line 
between offering what can't be easily gotten elsewhere and what can -- although 
this "line" has never been more than a penumbra for AGA -- case in point, the 
DW book -- although I suppose, perhaps this extra outlet is appreciated enough 
by DW that it helps keep her on the job. Oriental Aquarium's book is darned 
hard to find. Topica somewhat be less so.
 
If we're selling autographed copies or something else that a person can't get 
spending 5 minutes on line, then we should do it.  Otherwise, what is the 
reason for doing it? Would we actually be providing a community service or just 
broadening the AGA offerings? And is DW looking for more work? Should we at 
least mention this to her before we add to inventory?
