I don't remember the guidance or rules we gave, but we I'm thinking we should tell them to use it how they see fit in the best interest of the hobby.

ok, my deadline for the scholarship is tomorrow, and I've come up empty so far, no student takers. I did get a response from one of our sfbaaps members, whose supporting his family with a single income and cannot afford the convention. He offered that he would like to share the registration if possible.

About half a month ago Michael L was suggesting some students be allowed to register without membership -- perhaps those and similar students would be good candidates for a share of the reg?

I announced this again at last sunday's oh, and talk to the one young man that has showed interest, he has not been able to get the ok from his partents yet ! I offered to split it up if that would help, maybe let someone take the trip, and someone else attend the conference, but so far, no takers.
