Hi Cheryl,

Just wanted to say thanks again for your great hospitality and help.

I left the Hotel at 3: 30 PM (dead tired) and walked through my front
door at 2:20 this morning. It was a rough trip back. The worst blizzard
was atop Kit Carson Pass. They were hauling away the victims in a meat
wagon. Other blizzards of a tad less consequence were on the ridge South
of  Gardnerville NV, Walker Canyon, Devil's Gate,  Conway Summit,
Deadman Summit, and Sherwin Summit. I have a lot of high passes to
negotiate, once the southerly passes close for the winter. Winds ranged
from steady 70 mph to gusts of over 90. [Wonder why the cold I had
licked seems to want to come back.;-)]

Ellen came by and dropped off KL's package, this AM. In it were
mini-pella, 17th (?) fissidens, flame moss, and fern gametophyte. I was
so zonked out that I never even heard her. My suggestion of where to go
from here with them, is that I tie them to rocks or wood and try to get
them to look really nice. Then we (I, of course), take some pictures for
TAG and hold some kind of auction, that way.

Discuss it with the powers that be, and let me and KL know. I'm going to
start tying, tomorrow. :-) ok?

PS. (for KL) I added to the three mosses you sent before, some very nice
spiky moss and a couple of packs of Singapore moss from those you had
sent me earlier. Your visible contribution was thus not insignificant,
and the auctioneers were effusive in the praise of your efforts.  Sorry
there was no way to get the latest package to the Convention in time. :-(
