Just folowing thorugh on the thought -- I think if we had done this then AGA would charge AGA2K6 about $1,800 for the lot, which would would be about the right cost for DVDs inlcuding postage.

The impact would be $900 less for SFBAAPS out of AGA2K6 and $900 less for AGA from AGA2K6 however, the net result for AGA's bottom line would be $600 less (assuming AGA pays you $10 x 100 and postage costs $5 each) since AGA is confronted only with the wholesale cost.

But it's a lot of work and $10 hardly covers it.

We could just send each of the 103 registrants a check for $17.45 as rebate. There wouldn't be any postage costs, just a lot of data entry for me with the onl-line bank program.

CR said we gave folks a discount. We should have made that a fixed amount and accrued the liability as a charge to AGA2K6. What discount did we offer? I need to estimate the amount to charge against AGA2K6.

Aye, there's the rub.  Thinking it over since I initially came up with the
idea:

1. I have to hand-do 100+ copies right off the bat.  Eww for me.
2. AGA pays me $10 x 100 right off the bat.  Yay for me.
3. AGA loses a bunch of DVD sales.  Eww for AGA.
4. AGA charges AGA2K6 either $10x100, or $15-20 x 100.
    (Eww for both AGA and SFBAAPS).

So now I'm thinking I'll retract the idea.  No good can come of it.

PS: Still no idea whether it's a 1- or 2-disk set.  Rendering awards show
and Eric Do right now to get a better idea.
