I am going to remain silent on this one. I spent a lot
of my personal time and effort on this and I am not
sure I can be as objective as I should be.

As Scott will attest from the calls I made to him
during the post convention remediations with the
hotel, this became personal for me. I was extremely
upset at the hotel and I needed to get remedy for my
own peace of mind. 

I am not certain I have ever used the tone of voice in
a proffessional situation that I used with Maria at
the hotel. I was actually on the verge of loosing my
cool, a big no no in any negotiations (See old reruns
of I love Lucy);-). I even contemplated with Scott
letting him takeover the process.

As you guys know the master account was on my personal
credit card and I was willing to litigate this if I
had to if they did not cooperate. 

Anyways to make a long story short, or shorter, I want
to just let you know why I am not jumping in with an
opinion. As long as you guys can come to a concensus
on what is the "right thing to do" I am in favor of
it. 

Whatever you decide just keep in mind that it was not
only the convention go'ers who were damaged by the
hotel, but also the AGA which suffered damage to our
reputation. However you discern between the two is up
to greater minds than mine....like you guys :-).
