Re: [AGA-sc] Contest

If you set up you bank account with Paypal, it's easy. It won't fit everyone, but it won't be worse that trying to pay paper check. No set up will fitt everyone as long as we're dealing with overseas.

As one who has never done it, is it easy to RECEIVE money through PayPal?

I just spent the last couple of "vacation" days, preparing the numbers for the end of year financial report and the Annual IRS filing. There's more work to come, like preparing the annual report and the IRS filing itself.

This year, if we award contest prize money, we should stipulate on the contest page that mentions the prizes that they can only be paid through Paypal. There are several reasons for this, the main one being the problem with cashing checks between countries. Also, from a cash-accounting standpoint, it's a pita when checks aren't cashed.
