Granted, I don't grow any fancy plants, but I have them on all of my 
tanks -- including my 300. They are the best lights I have ever used, and I 
especially like the fact that they are cheap (I think I paid $4 per 54 watt 
lamp) and they last a long time. I run 2 -- 54 watts on a 4' 120, and 6 on 
my 300. If you don'[t think they are any better then I won't bring them.
