Hi there -- In the past year there have been a bunch of different algae eating shrimps available -- zebra, red headed, blueberry -- in addition to the standard Amano shrimp, the yamato numa ebi. I've been selling these to stores for quite a while now, as well as keeping them in my little nano tank on my desk, and they do well and really do eat algae. I'm wondering if we could perhaps sell some at the AGA meeting Friday before NEC gets underway. I've kept 6 of each time in bags in my fish room for the past 3 days and they are just fine. I thought I could bag up a number of them, six per bay. I'll donate them to AGA, and we could probably sell them for $8 -- 10 for a bag of 6 shrimp. I sell them to stores for $1 to $1.50 each, and they retail them for $2.50 to $4 per shrimp, so $8 -- $10 for six of the little buggers should be a good deal. What say ye?
