I'm not actually sure how many AGA members have an
affiliation with a local general aquarium organization. When I speak,
where ever I speak, there may be one or two or 4 people in the group who are AGA
members, but rarely more than that... and they tend to be the only people who
are seriously involved with the planted tank side of the hobby.
Don't know what that says... just a general
observation.

That
may be true, and some clubs feel the AGA should reach out more to them, but we
probably won't reach the clubs through a mag ad. What we're supposed to do
when we do reach them, well, that's another question. ;-)

Dorothy, I'm not trying to be argumentative, but even though we asked
more than once, the only club that put a banner on their web site last
year was DFWAPC, and that's because I do their web site.
Some clubs
did discuss the convention in their private
forums.
