I had written a whole reply about how the photo release was
broadly-written to include any media or books that the AGA wanted the
stuff to appear in, but then I looked at the actual release and it's just
not true. We made the release very reasonable: "By
submitting images to
the AGA International Aquascaping Contest, the
entrant and/or the
copyright owner gives the Aquatic Gardeners Association
the right to
publish and/or display those images in any or all of the
following venues
the AGA International Aquascaping Contest web site; the
Aquatic Gardeners
Association web site; CD-ROM; The Aquatic Gardener, the
Journal of the
Aquatic Gardeners Association; various hobby related
magazines."
Nothing about books. The guy needs an apology
from Greg, an explanation
from one of us ("we didn't do it"), and Greg
needs to change his graphics.
Hopefully we didn't give him the raw images,
and it's clear that it's a
rip off the AGA website (complete with the
copyright burn-in).
