I am going to answer this post on our Forum with the
response that I forwarded to this list several weeks
ago. Please post any changes that you would like to
see and let meknow where you would like for me to post
it.

Here it is in case you don't have it.....

The AGA Convention for 2007 is going to happen- 
unfortunately it won't be until 2008. As I am sure
you can imagine, planning a national convention for
150-175 planted tank enthusiasts takes an enormous
amount of time and commitment.

There are hotel selections and contract
negotatiations, site visits, field trip logostical
planning as well as the challenge of finding an
interesting speaker line up and that is just the
beginning.

 The AGA Board has determined that we simply to do not
have the volunteer resources needed to put on the type
of convention that we all expect within the 2007
Calendar year. We did not arrive at this conclusion
quickly nor easily, but in the end it was decided that
delaying until 2008 is the best option for everyone. I
apologize for the delay in the final announcement but
this was not an easy decision.

We are currently working on 2008 and have a tentative
speaker line up that looks to be the best yet. We are
looking at several hotels and should have an
announcement in on the location soon.

However, we really need more people to get involved in
the work involved with putting on an event of this
magnitude. 

The  AGA is a volunteer organization without
volunteers we can't do anything. If you are interested
