Re: [AGA-sc] AGA 2008

High hotel rates could keep us from making roomnight minimums, making the hotel substantially costlier for the AGA while also reducing reg revs. I supect it would especially discourage extra nights before the convention. We don't really know what the price sensitivity is but if we eat it on the reg fees might actually be better off -- that is, possibly offset the hotel prices somewhat with the reg fee. Like maybe charging something minimal like $5. That would take a little out of the bite of 2-3 nights at $145/night. We would really be depending on Auction revs, then, to cover costs. Otoh, we're not sharing any revs this year. A break-even convention would be okay, imo, if we can assure ourselves that we'll make breakeven.

Time for me to start playing with diff numbers.
