Good points all. Let's not announce the Sheraton until we have a contract in hand.

When you ping the list you might ask for those that want to stay on the list AND work on the convention -- cuts out the riff raff with mere opinons ;-)

We should move all the AGA2K8 discussin henceforth over to the Con.

Possibly but "That was then This is Now". People who
are ready and willing aren't always the same a few
months or even weeks later so I think we need to start
from scratch.

I will ping the Con-Head list to start. Anyone who
does not respond will be cut off the list. If they
respond later they will be added back again.

I was thinking that since we are very close to getting
the contract done that we would do an announcement on
our Forum and perhaps on APC first then ping the
Con-Head list and ask for additional volunteers on
both Forums.

It really does not matter that much what order we do
it, but I was thinking that it would generate a little
more excitement for the Conference if we had already
announced date/location details.
