Hi folks, I was in the process of contacting the speakers about
setting up travel arrangements, what nights they need rooms for
etc. It occurred to me that we still don’t have any firm plans what
we’re going to do about a potential visit to Seachem. I know this
isn’t going to be an “official” trip, but if it takes place
within a day or two of the convention, my guess is that Tan and Amano will
already be here… they are going to need a day or two to acclimate to the
time change. We either have to bring them along (plus Amano’s “helper”
and possibly Tomoko or someone has to stay behind and “speaker sit”
them.<g> And if we offer to include them, it doesn’t feel
right not to include Jeff Senske and Mike Kane, if they will have arrived by
then. What say you all? Also, (this could be on-list, but I figured I’d just
do one post) I am asking each of the speakers to give us a bio and a
short introduction to their presentation topic so that we can do a convention
program. I thought it might be nice to ask for photos too, but I wasn’t
sure we could afford to produce something with photos. What do you think? Karen |
