I’ll talk to Claus and see what’s going on. I wonder if he even knows… it seems surprising that he wouldn’t at least talk to me about it and explain first. I understand the economy, but I also know things have changed a lot at Tropica… not all in directions he’s particularly happy with. Additionally, she’s forgetting that we have members all over the world… this is NOT a “U.S.” publication. Cheryl, can you get me number son our out-of-U.S. members?

I don’t know if we can save it, but it’s definitely worth a try. Claus has always told me that he was fully aware that advertising in TAG was much more to support the hobby than it was “advertisement”. Maybe he can find some other way to sponsor us more, if he can’t get their marketing dept. to buy in.

Holy Crap! Losing Tropica? That's the financial equivalent of over 65 memberships per year.

Have just returned from holiday and have therefore not been able to

As I have not send you anything I assume that you have put in the same

ad as in the previous issue.

Furthermore, I regret to inform you that we will not continue our

advertising for the year of 2009. We kindly ask you to confirm the

termination of this contract. If things will change regarding trading

with the USA we will of course reconsider this decision.

please note that the materials deadline for TAG 21-4 is September 1st. I

can stretch the deadline if I know for sure an ad is coming. I really

appreciate all your contributions.

specifications. Our circulation has held steady at 800 - 900 members

since 2002, with a significant number of new hobbyists every quarter.
