Is there an AGA’er in the area who would be able to set up a small tank, let it grow out and then bring it to the convention?

It's smack-dab in the middle of DFWAPC territory and I know there are soon-to-be three of us on this list living nearby. :D I'm happy to provide the tank and deal with the logistics of all that. Hearing you talk about nano tanks really takes me back. The very first aquatic gardening article I read was one you wrote for FAMA (I think) on small tanks 12 years ago. My, oh my, does time fly! There won't be a demo this time, perhaps next time.

Larry and Cheryl, is this something you might be interested in attending as well? I'll make sure to ask about comped registrations for vendors.

I’m not saying that the BOD wouldn’t consider a donation toward something like this, but it’s something we’ve never done in the past.

If it costs us money to set up a table, how much would y'all be willing to spend for it? Do we normally do something for ACA's that have an AGA presence?

Cheryl's foresight has provided me with a plethora of back issues to use. A gift certificate or two would be nice, as would a set of convention DVDs is that's ok.

Scott and I made large folded presentation boards (the foam core stuff) that we set up on the table as a nice display talking about AGA. I have smaller, half-size ones that I made that fit in my suitcase for when I speak elsewhere if they offer us table space, (usually available for asking)

Hey folks,

I'm going to be speaking at the NADA 2010 show http://www.discus2010.com/ this coming summer and would like to do something AGA-ish for the show. If a table or tank space were available for publicity how much would you all feel comfortable budgeting? I've offered to help with vendors and such. As soon as the Main Brains get back to me with specifics I'll let y'all know.
