blue-eyed apisto

Hello everyone

I spied a single small apisto at my supplier and it looked so lonely
that I just had to get it! I think it probably came in with a batch of
nannacaras or borellii. It is still quite small (~1 inch) and does not
have very many distinguishing features yet, but I will do my best to
describe it so that maybe someone will recognize it and tell me
what I have. The fish is pale in color with a faint dark grayish
lateral line and sub-orbital stripe. It has fairly extensive turquoise
face paint and the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen. There is
a small golden patch at the bottom of the iris also. The fish is long
and thin and the tail is rounded. It looks most like A. elizabethae
or A. diplotaenia in adult pix. Any light bulbs going on yet? I know
that I should wait until it grows into itself, but it is driving me insane
not knowing what I have. The eyes are the most distinguishing
feature for now. They are glowing electric china blue!

Please help me
