Re: More on the nematode worms (long)



i had that problem several years ago wiht one female guppy who only had one 
worm sticking out of her.  within two months all the fish had worms.  i 
think that you take her out quickly because each worm lays thousands of eggs 
that come out with her feces!  although i took the infected female guppy 
within a day of noticing it, which was a day after i bought her, all my 
other fish got them nonetheless :(  i wasn't able to read about the cure on 
the krib at the time (it was during my non internet days) so i just 
destroyed all the fish and resetup my tank as the book i read instructed me 
to.  good luck trying to cure her!
