Re: Nanacara question

Yvan,
Thank you. That explains it. I have several females and one male. I thought that was the case - I just wasn't sure they would show yet. I only saved the 4 females (after one month of waiting for mom to not do a good job) when I decided to pull them. Then I found the little boy a week later. Of course they weren't showing sex difference at that time. As a matter of fact I thought little boy was a goner until I noticed him during a feeding 2 days ago. Saw him again today looking green and yellow breifly as he darted from plant to rock. Thanks.
Bonny

hi bonni,
mine were already ~1 inch after a month and i could already see some
differences. Now, when they'll be a little bigger it is even more obvious. I
think it was easier for me tsince they were by their own in a growth tank at
that point and were showing already some attitude! Amasingly females were
protecting the food i was giving them (worms, artemias..) showing there
spawning colors and fighting! Males were more quiete but with mmore color
(green, blue, yellow) and already longer fins. They are F1 by the way.
take care
