Hi all, I've just got three might-be A. cacatuoides from an imported fish store in Bangkok. Since Apistos and other dwarfs cichilds are not popular over here. There were only 2 tanks of Apistos for me to choose. One was labeled only 'Apistogramma', which I thought it would be A. cacatuoids. (their colors are not as shown in the Krib though, they were just dark brown!) Do I have to wait til they settle down in my tank, right? I'd like to know whether it is wild-caught or tank-bred, I was just told that they were imported from Singapore. Can you tell any difference between the two? Does it vary in certain species? I need to learn a lot more about this. The other tank was labeled "Big Yellow Band". Is it a common for any Apisto? They were a bit more expensive, I just want to check first what it is and I can go back and buy them. No one will be interested in this fish and I'll surely get them, any time in future. Thanks a lot, Arthit ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@listbox.com.
