Hello, I am a newbie so be kind. I have been reading the posts about ram parenting behavior and am pretty interested since i have a pair of golden rams with a large clutch of eggs in a planted 29 with two neons to keep them company. I have a very good cacatuoides mom in a 38 gallon community tank with SAEs and black widow tetras and another pair of cacs who has raised a good clutch of fry to the half inch stage fairly easily with no injury to any other fish. Are rams incapable of this kind of parenting behavior? My present pair is attentive to the eggs, taking turns at guarding and fanning them. Thanks Teresa. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@listbox.com.
