Firstly, I'd like to apologise if I ask newbie question without looking through archives on the topic that has been discussed in the past.

I thank you all here that help me a lot to clarify and explain things about water chemistry. I have asked people before and also I have read many articles concerning the issue, however, I am still in doubt. I nearly get it right now. As I am a beginner, water parameter is the most part I am worried about!

I have tested my water today and it reads 3dGH and 3dKH with a pH around 7.5. Would this fit with the apisto? Is the RO still needed then? I have had Nannacara anomala spawned readily in this water lowered with Tetra's KH/pH Minus. Nevertheless, since this dwarf is undemanding, I am just curious if it would do with other species.

Cheers,
