I stumbled across this website while looking for pics of wild
type Bettas. Check out these apisto pics! Never heard of
half of these sp.!

He's got a pic of a female A. sp. 'mouthbrooder' holding.
Very interesting...
The dorsal on the Apisto arua is even more punk rock
than our common caucatoides... very neat.

The site may be slow to load, but its worth it for the pics.
