Re: Planaria Problems



Thanks everyone.
The reason that I think the planaria were in the food is that I literally
saw the damned things crawling out of the cone feeder, and they hadn't been
there the day before.  However, I have started doing daily water changes,
rather than weekly, and hopefully that will do the trick.
Just in case it doesn't, does anyone know whether fluke tabs will harm my
plants?  I know that a number of medications "melt" plants.

P.S. I am trying to get my trio of A. "papagei" to spawn.  Can anyone give
me some advice on that?  They are in a 20-gallon long, with lots of caves.
Temp. is 79 degrees F., and the water is peat filtered to 6.3.
