collection trip in the amazon

i believe the new england aquarium in boston did offer a trip to the amazon once, and i know tennessee aquarium did offer it a few years in a row, the person there is particularly interested in aquatic plants and the participants brought back plants and fish.  however, bear in mind that brazilian law now explicitly forbids that so the situation has become more complicated in terms of getting appropriate permits and paperwork.  the last tennessee aquarium trip, from waht i heard, could not bring anything back.
