Hi all,
At the moment I have gravel in my apisto aquarium and have an
internal canister filter. If I upgrade to an external canister filter
should I get sand for the substrate. I can collect it at the beach so it
won't cost anything, but is it worth it. Also, can plants grow well in
it.
