Re: sand vs gravel



I'm pretty happy with walmarts poolfilter sand.It gravel vacuums pretty good with a 1" vacuum.I always end up picking up extra sand but it's easy to replace at $3.00 50lbs.

Doesn't the fish mulm and detritus just sit on top of the
sand?  How does everyone keep that looking decent?
