I forgot to add that the "roughness of the sand allows the apistos to build nice little walls around their cave entrances:-)

This varies in size from less than 1mm to around 5mm in sie, the only `problem is that it's a bit light and gets "blown" around a bit if the current is too strong, you also need more of it to hold down plants:-(. I'll be getting about 3 sack fulls :-0.
