Nanochromis
Hello Group!
I am raising and expect a spawn any day from some fish I purchased as
Nanochromis splendens. I am having a hard time convincing myself that
they're not parilus.
Do any of you know a sure fire way of differentiating the two?
Some, 'at a glance' factor like, let's say, the "red area of the eye socket
is unique to splendens"?
The CICHLIDS OF WEST AFRICA book isn't helping me believe they're splendens,
but they are young and I remain hopeful.
