Hey Rich

Ive found from past experiences that those breeder nets arent always the
best thing to isolate a male fish from the female..... i've had on two
different occasions, male partners ending up dying in those net breeder
traps... not from aggression, but i dont know why, which is why i only
use them things for guppies nowadays.   Move the male to a smaller 5
gallon tank for just him if you need to get him away from her..... 

My thoughts, whether valid or not........
