Coby, Try the National Geographic Society's map service. I use maps by ITMB Publishing (http://www.nas.com/travelmaps). They have a map that covers just the Amazon Basin, as well as other regional maps of South America. They are 1:4 million scale, so they have pretty good detail without being overly large. The Rio Uaupés is a major northwestern tributary of the Rio Negro. The part of the Uaupés that enters Colombia is called the Rio Vaupes.
