Re: trout chow& beefheart



Back when I was breeding discus, I used lots of
beefheart. I don't know much at all about the fat
deposit thing...but it put size on them really quick,
and i never noticed any sterility problems in my fish.
I might also add that they didn't eat just beefheart.
It was a regular part of the diet, but not the staple.
The staple was a good paste food, that only Sal knows
the recipe to.They also ate bloodworms, blackworms,
and daphnia, all on a rotating basis. In my humble
opinion, a varied diet is the key when feeding your
fish.
