Re: trout chow& beefheart

My 2 cent..what you need to pay close attention to is to make sure the beef heart comes from a cow that was not raised on hormones/steroids.. research has shown that feeding TOO much beefheart, with artificial ingredients,  will be harmful to the fish.( in Connecticut it's state law that beef heart has to be ALL natural before it can be sold)...here again,  one needs to feed in moderation....OR you can use Deer hearts..they're great..

I don't know about trout chow but, I know some Discus breeders who think beef hearts are great and yes they do breed Discus.
