Last week I bought 3 Viejitas (1M, 2F) which have just produced free swimming fry:-), unfortunately there seems to be some doubt as to whether they are Viejitas or Macmasteris. I've got Uwe Römer's book but that doesn't really clear up my doubt, can anybody tell me something which will help me to be sure what I've got?
BTW I've previously used a substrate of peat topped with gravel, it seemed to work very well but I spent a lot too much time on the plants and not enough on my fish (all that pruning:-()
