How about duckweed? They grow fast in any
condition.

I have tried najas and
it just melted. Water sprite seems to be surviving, but
not growing very
much. I am using bare bottom tanks so it needs to be plants
that don't
need to be planted (I really don't feel like dealing with
pots...).
