Well, I guess you could play it by eye. If you think the overfeeding is a 
problem you could try to remove but, you'll probably end up loosing more fry 
trying to do that then it's worth. I overfeed my fry all the time and it 
isn't a problem. When I change water in fry tanks I change from the top and 
replace with clean water. A very old Apisto Guy once told me "Don't worry 
about the crap on the bottom."
