Yes I have and after finding that the cost for the OZ setup 
would be considerable .... I believe the UV would be the best way to go.

Have you thought of a UV system instead? This seems to be what quite a few
people on the list use. I use one that was originally intended for a garden
pond and was much cheaper than one intended for tanks. It's easy to set up
and virtually mainenance free as well as avoiding the pitfall of ozone going
into the water.
