Re: flies in my Gindal Worms!
Alan,
The flies just compete for the food and the easiest way to get
rid of them is to dump the whole culture in a bucket of water and
decant the flies off the top. The worms will sink to the bottom and
flies will float. Then just start a fresh culture with new media
and a sterilized culture container.

Subject: flies in my Gindal Worms!
I have maintained my Grindal worm culture for about 4 months now,
and I am afraid that it is being over run with fruit flies. The fly
maggots are about all I can find in my culture now. Do the maggots
eat the worms, or just out compete them for food? Has anyone found
a way to get the flies out of their culture?
Thanks,
C. Alan
