Yes Sir, but I admit that I have a second line with tapwater hooked up to my R/O water reservoir . The tapwater line leaks a little and I get maybe 1g tapwater into 30g R/O water that way. Keep in mind that R/O units don't remove all the solids from the tapwater. You'd need a Deionization unit combined with a R/O unit to remove almost everything from your tapwater. You'd have to reconstitute the D/I R/O produce water with trace elements.

I used straight RO with my diplos when I had them, and
they bred like nuts for me. If i'm not mistaken, max
breeds and raises his apistos in straight RO as well.
