Yes, I have not been able to see them either.
While I think about it, has anyone got any suggestions for what appears to
be a regani-group Apisto from the Rio Negro?
A branch of Maidenhead Aquatics near Warrington had in a batch of mixed wild
Apistos, and as they've grown there are pertensis-group fish, some A.
gephyra, and a few that are very difficult to place. They look most like A.
geisleri (but from the wrong area unless it was just the remainder from two
or three batches that got sent), with very pale bodies, and few markings
other than two or three indistinct spots along the mid-line.
