Since Saturday I have had a healthy batch of about 60 free-swimming Pimental fry (they spawned on Thurs 27th p.m., so that's 9 days from spawning to free-swimming, if anyone is interested). They are feeding well on a variety of foods, particularly the biocover that has developed on the leaf litter (another good reason to use this as substrate). The female is a little terror, being very diligent in her guarding. Assuming no mishaps, anyone who wants some young at a future date please get in touch.
