RE: Belly sliders

Even though I never had this problem with Apistos .. I had the same kind
of experience with Bettas! With them, it has to do with feeding newly
hatched brine shrimp as their FIRST food! When I switched to Microworms
and later on fed baby brine-- I had no more belly sliders! Just my 2
cent.

Subject: Belly sliders

Hi all,

anybody has experience with belly sliders (fry unable to swim).

I had this problem with aggies, borellii and trifasciata. Some of the
fry (sometimes up to 25% of them) is unable to swim properly.

Any thoughts about what to do to prevent it?

Thanks in advance
