  If an apisto book is what you are after, i'd suggest Romer's atlas.
The Linke & Staeck book is good, but limited in species covered (it was
written some time ago). The Atlas is more complete. But......I do enjoy
having both books in my collection.

Can someone tell me if "American Cichlids 1: Dwarf Cichlids" and "Dwarf
Cichlids: A Handbook for Their Identification, Care, and Breeding
(American Cichlids)" are one and the same book? Is the second simply a
reprint of Linke & Staeck's infamous apisto book?
