The metallic flakes in granite is generally mica, which is harmless.  It is
unlikely that unoxidized metals will survive the igneous origins of granite.
 You could test with muriatic acid for a response.  The safest bet is to let
the rock sit in a tank for a month, then test for any changes in pH,
hardness, alkilinity, and maybe trace metals, if you have all of those test
kits available.
